A DAY IN A LIFE OF A BACKPACKER
Before my backpacking trip began, I often daydreamed about how my days in Asia would unfold. It’s difficult to imagine the unknown, and online I mostly found the “perfect picture” instead of a realistic view of traveling. That’s why I decided to keep a travel journal for 170 days. I wrote during long travel days in sleeper buses, in slightly crowded dorms, or comfortably in a hammock, gazing at the rice fields. Both the good and the less pleasant days are covered, because let’s be honest, they sometimes happen too.
Curious about how my travels went and what you might expect on your backpacking journey? Take a look through my journal, and maybe you’ll discover my deepest travel secrets.
